Attollo DoD SkillBridge Internship Program

The Attollo SkillBridge Internship Program is an opportunity for transitioning United States service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through an unpaid internship during their last 6 months of service, for up to 180 days.  Attollo has been recognized as a partner for the DoD SkillBridge program.

The goal of our internship is to help transition our military veterans to a civilian position by providing tangible experience and new skillsets in the civilian workforce. We are extremely supportive of our interns as they navigate VA and transition appointments, interviews, and more. Follow-on positions at Attollo are based on project availability.

We are seeking Project Management interns. Experience preferred is as follows:

  2. Experience overseeing projects or programs, to include manpower, money, policy, deadlines, and risk.

  3. Subject Matter Expertise in a variety of military fields, to include airspace, C2, data/networking, curriculum development/instruction, and more.

  4. Bachelor’s degree, preferred, or experience/certifications in lieu of.

TYPES OF POSITIONS

· We don’t have specific internship start and stop dates. We try to flex to the intern’s availability.

· Attollo will hire quarterly, based on project needs.

  1. Our positions are listed by quarter on Indeed and on our website.

  2. Potential interns apply on Indeed, selecting the appropriate position based on when you want to start your internship.

  3. If the timeframe you are looking for is not on Indeed, we have already filled our internship positions for that timeframe.

  4. We will close out each quarter’s application window two months prior to the start of that quarter.

  5. The HR department evaluates applicants based on resume and the prescreen questions.

  6. Applicants that fit our criteria are invited to a screening interview with HR.

  7. Following the screening, applicant packages are forwarded to our Project Leads.

  8. Project Leads evaluate applicants’ skillsets in relation to the current projects at Attollo.

  9. If there is a match of skillsets and projects, HR sets up an interview with the Project Lead.

  10. If the intern and Project Lead decide to move forward, the final step is Attollo’s hiring board for final decision.

  11. HR will notify the applicants of their final status no later than the month prior to the beginning of the internship quarter.
